Happy 4th of July to all of our friends, family, readers and listeners back home. We also want to extend a happy 4th to all of the med students throughout the Caribbean and across the world!

Use this time as a way to remember why we are doing this. We all will enjoy the financial freedom offered us from our chosen profession. Of course, very few of us have chosen this route for that reason. We do it for the life we can offer our future patients. We do it because we want to be a part of healing in this world. We do it because this is our pursuit of happiness.
